Childcare in Cheshire East

| Since qualifying in childcare, I started off as a nursery nurse. I enjoyed being a key worker for a few children, but wanted to do some one to one work, in a different environment. In November 2013, I went to nanny for 5 months, on a ski season. This suited my personality a lot better, and I enjoyed being able to bring excitement to the children's holiday, and going on trips around the resort. I have worked as a nanny locally and currently do one to one work with a child with autism in a nursery.

| I have experience with all ages of children. I now have a level 3 in childcare and I am also an Ofsted registered childminder with paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding and child protection qualifications I also have two daughters of my own. I have worked in many schools and nurseries as well as for myself as a childminder.

| I work full time as a Health Care Assistant at Leighton Hospital. I studied Sports and Active Leisure, and child care at college, I have studied all the Care certificates for child care, elderly care, caring for the poorly and ill health and care for people with disabilities. I’m fully first aid trained. I see myself as quite an outgoing, fun person, with quite a bubbly personality. I’ve always been quite sporty, and into outdoor activities. Since working full time and having my own home, my hobbies haven’t been much of a priority. I have baby sat in the past for friends and family, and have loved spending time and building bounds with the children I have looked after. I cared in the community for people with disabilities, and was guttered to have to leave the job. I left due to having a 0 hour contract and needing something more stable as me and my partner moved into our own house. This job entailed me to take my clients out to do their shopping, house work, help with preparing and making their meals, taking them out to different clubs they participated in, and to help them with anything they needed help with in their care time they had.

| I have worked in childcare for 6 years in a nursery gaining my level 3 Early Years Educator. During this time I also moved away to Untied Arab Emirates, Dubai and worked in a nursery school there as a teacher for the pre-school class. I have completed safeguarding training, DBS checks, paediatric first aid and first aid in fire safety. Alongside working in the nursery in the UK I did lots of babysitting for family’s where I would look after the children in the day or in the evening taking them for walks, reading stories and helping with any homework. I would also cook meals for the children who I cared for making sure they were nutritious and delicious. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

| I am a 24-year-old graduate who is looking for a rewarding work as a nanny/au pair/ babysitter. I studied at Leicester University receiving a first class degree in English and American Studies. I have also studied abroad in San Diego California. I love cooking, arts and crafts, singing, reading and enjoying nature. (non-driver) I have previous experience as an Au Pair where I worked with a lovely family in Munich for six months in 2014/15. I was responsible for caring for twin boys who I watched grow from babies to toddlers. I undertook everyday tasks of housework and childcare, including bottle preparation, meal preparation, nappy changing, bath time, play and general care. During university and currently I work as a part time childcare practitioner for children of 0-4 years at an outstanding Ofsted registered nursery. I work with ages from 0-4 years and am familiar with EYFS and health and safety protocol. I have experience of planning and carrying out activities with the children and being responsible for a large number of children at once. | Hi, I’m Sophie and I’ve worked in the child care industry since I was 17 and have a 2 year old myself. I’ve worked with children from 1-4, but I have experience with newborns as having a child myself. I have a level 2 qualification in child care, which i achieved by the time I was 18. I’ve always loved working with children and want to continue doing so by working with smaller groups of children in a more personal setting, to provide the best care given to each individual child. I am paediatric first aid trained and I’ve just had an updated DBS check.
