Before starting my own childminding service, I worked as an Early Years Practitioner at an outstanding outdoor kindergarten. I am keen to complete a Forest School Level 3 Leader qualification in the near future. I feel that nature, play and freedom are essential in a child’s development. Positively connecting children with nature helps them to understand the importance of caring for plants, animals, and ultimately the environment and world around them. We seek to find the magic in nature and have fun as we learn. All activities are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS.) I enjoy planning imaginative and stimulating activities including nature trails, treasure hunts and live literacy set ups, bringing treasured stories to life for the children.
