Childcare in West Dorset

| I have 6 years experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary school, predominantly in early years. I am forest school trained and love using the outdoors as a space where children can learn, explore and discover. I am looking for someone who would need childcare on Thursdays and Fridays for 6-7 hours a day from October. Ideally this would be in the Bridport area. I am very down to earth and am happy to do whatever childcare is needed. I mostly enjoy engaging with children, nurturing their love of the natural environment and the world around them through books, discovery walks, imaginative play, baking and adventures outside. Watching children develop fascinates me and I feel honoured to be part of the process in helping them bloom. | I have had over 10 years experience working with children aged from birth to their early teens. I have also worked in correspondence with Wessex Autistic Society and on a private childcare level. In this position I helped children and young adult overcome fears and helped get them into a routine that eased their minds and calmed their behavior. Every child is different and that is what I love about being a childcare provider, each child brings their own idea's and little personalities which make every moment unique. I am also a Beaver Scout Leader and work with young children aged 5-7. I help them learn survival skills and encourage their own creativity and idea's and let them enjoy the wilderness as well as also teaching them discipline and respect.
