| I’ve been a mother for over 35 years to seven children . I currently work as a nanny for a 2 year old boy and his 4 year old sister. My duties include , driving them to school or music , play actives . I bake with them , do a wide range of arts and crafts. I have my own extensive library which is always a hit . I’m also in charge of their dietary and hygiene needs . In the past l have looked after my friends autistic son for weekly periods to give her some respite. I enjoyed the challenge this presented especially when able to witness the benefits to both the child and the mother. I’ve loved my role as a mother and feel the years of experience gives me a real insight into individual characters . I’m energetic and fun loving . I definitely have a nurturing nature . Children really are our future and l feel it’s of paramount importance to take lots of time to understand their individual characteristics. It’s extremely important to listen to them , so they can develop into happy , independent individuals. Above all l believe life should be packed with as much laughter as possible, fun is definitely a big part of my life . I’m sure that my own children would agree that l was the silliest Mum around .

| I gained my Diploma in child care and education (NNEB CACHE) in 1998. I gained skills from working at primary schools. I briefly worked at a residential home for adolescences. I supported the children in learning life skills, the children felt comfortable in approaching me with any issues they had. I enjoy working with children and any activities they would like. I enjoy helping them problem solve and also creating a fun, happy environment for them to be in. A family pet is a bonus to work with as I love animals and dog walking.
