Babysitters in Tonyrefail

| I am work as a Residential Childcare Worker, working with children between the ages of 12 and 18. We work in a nurturing and supportive way, putting in place firm but fair boundaries, and caring to every child's needs. I am also studying Psychology with Counselling. Previously, I worked as an Apprentice Parent and Family Support Worker, working with both children and their parents/guardians to support and promote positive development. In this role I worked with the Talk and Play team, which aims to support language development in children and toddlers. I have received training in Makaton (a speech and language support tool) and would feel confident both using it and expanding my knowledge of it. I have been a babysitter since the age of 15, looking after children between the ages of 4 and 10. I have always loved doing this, and being able to provide different opportunities for fun and learning e.g. reading, going for walks, doing arts and crafts, cooking etc. In my free time I enjoy reading, listening to music, running and going to a Welsh evening class. I have had Emergency First Aid training and Fire Safety Training. I am currently completing an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care - Children and Young People.
