I have been interested in working in the childcare sector for the last 5 years. I have earned qualifications in National 5 and Higher Early Education and Childcare and working towards completing my HNC Childhood Practice, although I am taking a year out to work more hours and earn money for myself.
On a regular basis I babysit my 3 year old nephew, which includes meal preparations, bathing and using the toilet, going to clubs, daily exercises/walks with him and my dog, playing, and taking him to bed.
I have experience working in nurseries, primary schools, working 1:1 with children and in small/big groups. Throughout my placements I worked with children from the ages of 3 to 7 years old, although I would love to work with kids of any age. I have also worked in an Enhanced Provision Unit and have developed my skills to work with children with all abilities.
As a part of a healthy lifestyle I enjoy keeping active and fit by running and enjoy cooking and baking with friends and family at weekends.
I am flexible to work within your hours throughout the weekdays, my hours on the weekend though are any time in the morning and afternoon.
