Babysitters in Steyning

| I have been caring for children since I was a teenager. At 16, I began a weekly after school art club in my community as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award, and volunteered for a school club that supported a local orphanage, the Mercy Center. During university, I worked as a babysitter, caring for children up to the age of eleven, in households consisting of up to three children, and my duties largely included entertaining children, preparing meals, supervising homework and activities, getting ready for bed, and light housework. In 2017, I also worked for Camp Grove Point, a Girl Scout camp in Maryland USA, as the Arts and Crafts Specialist, where my duties included lesson planning, as well as teaching, safeguarding and caring for children from the ages of five to eighteen. Additional to my childcare experience, I have recently graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a BA in Drama, and previously worked as an Interactor at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, so my Harry Potter knowledge is off the charts! My hobbies include art, theatre and ice skating.

| I'm Alice, I'm 22 years old and am a recent graduate of the University of Bristol. My previous experience working with children involves running an early years drama club for ages 3-13 and 14-16, encouraging the children to create their own plays, develop their confidence and most of all have fun. I also have some experience babysitting 5-10 year olds, looking after children in my neighbourhood, cooking and caring for them in the evenings. I am an exceptional cook and so would be able to cook varied and healthy meals for any children. I have also spent the previous year running a childrens' summer camp and soft play centre for over a year. I have worked with children from the ages of 6 months to 12 years, and enjoy engaging kids in all kinds of activities ranging from full on sports activities, to quieter moments for arts and crafts. I also have a full drivers license and an enhanced DBS #####.## addition to these basic skills I also see myself as an energetic, imaginative and highly organised person. I have the excitement to engage with children's games, but also have the authority and organisation it takes to care for and look after a child.
