| I am a reliable, outgoing, trustworthy, person who has the ability to form trusting and effective relationships. I am currently a childcare development worker, working towards my SVQ3 in Childcare & Early Years Education. I have 8 years’ experience in working with children varying from babysitting, child minding, teaching, au pairing and camp counsellor. I have a sensitive and hands on approach towards working with children and have a strong passion for child development. As an individual I am able to establish and communicate clear objectives for all kinds of learning activities and also develop high quality and engaging lesson plans for all age groups, especially younger children. I come from a large, child orientated family which has definitely influenced my decision to pursue a career in childcare.

| Always been comfortable with kids, having had 15 little cousins growing up near by. When I was 23 I child minded a 1 year old and 3 year old for 8 months, 8am -3pm, and really enjoyed it. This included swimming lessons, craft time, outdoor walks, meal prep and housekeeping.

| I have worked with children aged 2-13 since I was only 16. I currently assist and teach at a children’s performing arts school at weekends and have been doing so for two years. Throughout my time teaching I have not only taught the children musical theatre abilities but also abilities that they will use in everyday life such as good manners and teamwork. I also have a level 6 first aid in the workplace certification.
