Patient, enthusiastic and friendly Italian childminder
|
My name is Rosa and I am Italian. After my degree in Italian Language and Literature at the University of Palermo, in Italy, I moved to Nottingham.
I have always had a passion for teaching, in fact I have educated children and teenagers on my own for seven years. It is a demanding but also rewarding job because I find that working with children is different every time. I also volunteered as an assistant at the activities at Wollaton Hall and Nottingham Castle, where I was tasked with welcoming visitors - especially children - and helping them use the interactive space in the workshops. Therefore, I know how educate and entertain children. I try to get in touch with them through what they love: animals, music, cartoons, drawings. Obviously, I need to meet them first and understand what are their needs. I've also worked as an educator in Palermo for two months, where I learned to improve the needs of underprivileged children. I am interested in applying for this position because I love children and working with them. I could look after them part time or even occasionally at your home. It's the same. I could take care of the housework and cooking as well.
