Primary teacher of almost five years.
|
I have taught Reception children and Year 1 for four years in a mainstream school, and I am currently teaching verbal and pre-verbal children with a range of special needs, but predominantly autism. I am undertaking a master's in autism in my spare time and out of my eight nieces of nephews I grew up taking care of, one is autistic. I am leaving teaching at the end of this year to become a SEND caseworker part-time, and am looking for work around this. I will initially be office based in Sleaford, but I will be moving to working from home, in Market Rasen, after an initial induction. My work hours will be 9am - 3pm, meaning that I would available to provide childcare 3.30pm onwards for those in the surrounding areas, or later if travel is required. I am also willing to work weekends as required.
I have an Enhanced DBS certificate and am up to date with relevant safeguarding training.
