Babysitters in Lymington

| I am a friendly 20 year old, and would like to offer babysitting/childcare services while at home from university during summer. I have lots of experience with evening babysitting, some daytime childcare, and am a healthcare assistant so experienced in giving personal care and trained in basic life support and first aid. I am currently in my second year studying medicine at Bristol university.

This involves character work with children especially in peppa pig world ( so I’m now an expert on everything peppa pig and know the songs off by heart :), participating in the shows and hosting them and escorting VIP families around the park all day.

| I have been babysitting since I was 17 for family, friends and teachers. I have a wide range of experience from babies to 13yr olds. I have 4 nieces/nephews, have nannied for twins as well as a variety of ages/ sibling numbers. I come from a large family myself (one of five). I love everything nature/outside. From sports, horses and a good old adventure/bear hunt walk in the woods or park. I also enjoy cooking and baking for the rainy days too. I am more than happy to assist with homework or school project too, sometimes it is best to get the 'boring' bits out the way so the rest of the day/ evening you can have fun and quality time together.

| My passion for working with children first began in year 10, when I completed my work experience at a local nature nursery. I enjoyed setting up activities for the children to learn and develop. I worked alongside practitioner’s to meet the needs of children and support their development. This experience led me to a decision of completing my level 3 in early years at Brockenhurst College. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about child development and how children acquire skills. I completed 100 hours in a local primary school over a 4 week placement, where I worked with children 6-7 years. I completed daily reading with the children, enjoyed teaching phonics and carrying out my own activities. I also completed a 200 hour placement at a local nursery, with children 0-4 years 11 months. I spent time in the baby room, carrying out sensory activities and meeting the individual needs of each child. I shadowed practitioner’s to learn skills on how to support children. I learnt the basic care needs for babies and young toddlers. I also spent time in the pre-school room, helping children with school readiness. I completed many activities with children. Since completing my level 3 I have started as a practitioner in a local nursery.
