I have worked with my mum in foster care for 8 years, caring for children from 2 months-18 years. I love children and bond with them easily. I take care of a group of 3 children, regularly, aged 1, 5, and 8 years old so I have no problem looking after a group of children. I also currently babysit an 11 month old boy on a Tuesday evening. I have experience with children with disabilities from taking care of my brother with Autism. I have also cared for babies who have suffered pre-natal drug and alcohol abuse. I am currently doing a degree in Psychology, specialising in children and teens with social anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression, so working with children is ideal. I aim to help the next generation become the self-assured, well balanced, and confident people they hope to grow up to be. I am an energetic, somewhat eccentric person, therefore I am willing to play with the children, help with homework, and interact with them. Not only will I be a babysitter for them, but I am someone both children and parents can see as a friend and a listening ear. I enjoy helping children discover talents, as a singer myself, I can help explore musical talents and other extracurricular activities.
