| Hello! My name is Robyn and I am 20. I have a PVG. Disclosure Scotland checks any criminal behaviour and any relevant information. I have received mine so I am safe to work with children and young people. I do not drive. I completed my college placement, I was at Hayocks Primary School where I helped a group of the younger children with various activities such as learning to read, write, draw and play music. I also helped two Syrian girls to learn english by teaching them the alphabet with sounds and games. Furthermore, I created activities for the children to improve their development with their class topic, which was the farm. I completed my work experience at Beith Primary School. I worked with Primary 1/2 children helping a small group of children with literacy, mathematics and other classwork. I also organised games for the children, assisted with marking and admin and supervised the children outdoors. I also regularly babysit my two younger siblings and also my young cousins, one of whom is a type one diabetic and I have knowledge of how to input her insulin into her pump and how to check her blood sugar levels. I have also recently started learning BSL so I can work with children who are hearing impaired.

| I am a passionate individual, who has just finished a degree in Childhood studies. My mum is a childminder so I have always been around children from a young age and consider them as an extended family. I have lots of experience with being in nurseries, primary schools and academies when doing my placements and I enjoy being a part of a child’s day to day life and would like to make a positive impact.

| I currently work as a full-time nanny whilst running my own business. In my spare time I enjoy keeping myself active, I love being outdoors! I am very work driven and passionate about my job. I would describe myself as a committed, enthusiastic, nurturing, reliable and trustworthy individual. I am highly experienced; I have 7 years child care experience within a nursery & school setting, and 3 years as a nanny & babysitter. I have carried out many services such as school/nursery drop offs and collections, currently offering adhoc sitting, overnight stays and wedding & events sitting. I have experience working with children ages 6 months - 12 years, additional support needs, babies, twins and triplets. I am confident in caring for children and aiding them through their developmental stages. My role as a nanny is to make your life easier, I can cook nutritious meals, help with homework, carry out light house-keeping, plan and implement fun and stimulating activities & take children on outings as well as many other jobs.
