| Hello, my name is Lydia. I have done performing arts for a number of years and have taught early stages at stagecoach among other things. I'm a very bubbly, lively character, with a lot of patience! I am currently working with a company who mainly teaches primary school children how to cook and absolutely love it. I'm quite an active, outside person and I love animals. I have done a lot of babysitting in the past as well as some nannying for a 4 and 6 year old. I have a calm but firm approach with the children (whilst making sure they are always having fun) who both respect and like me. They are a pleasure to be around! I've taught performing arts and solo singing lessons as well as teaching children how to cook using the eat-well plate and helping them have an understanding of where food comes from. I'm more than happy to incorporate this into nannying/babysitting. I have a level 3 BTEC extended diploma performing arts I am DBS checked, and have my health and safety certificate in food hygiene.

During my GCSE's and A Levels, I did work experience as well as volunteer work in a number of schools and nurserys. I also completed 800 placement hours while studying childcare at Exeter College, where I worked with school aged children, nursery children, babies, and children with SEN. I also completed a week’s work experience in bramble children’s ward at the local hospital. I have experience in babysitting in the daytime as well as over night. I have worked at Feniton Primary School as a teaching assistant as well as Cranbrook Education Campus and a Rockbeare Pre School. I currently work at Honiton Primary School in the nursery. I have 8 year’s experience working with children in total. I absolutely love working with children, seeing them meet the next steps in their development and being part of this. I find it so rewarding. I am DBS checked and first aid trained and can provide evidence of this. I can also provide references.

| Hi all, I’m Ellie, I’m 23 and I was born and raised in Devon and I’ve just moved back from Bristol. I currently live in the Honiton area. I love children and have previously done babysitting for local families (age range was 5-11 years old). I have a lovely niece (she’s nearly 2) who I am very involved with, who keeps us all busy which I thoroughly enjoy! I play an active role in her life and have done since she was born so I am comfortable with babies. As an individual I would consider myself to be very caring, kind hearted, responsible, committed, friendly and understanding. In terms of professional experience I have always worked in the care sector - mainly with individuals with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health issues etc. This is something I really enjoy and I find caring for others extremely rewarding.
