| Hi, I'm comfortable around children and am able to care for them appropriately. I have a younger sister (15 years old) that I have had to babysit and take care for in the past, so I have had some experience in this area. I have basic first aid training, including CPR training.

| Hi, I’m Steph and I'm an 18 year old student from Poole. People would describe me as a fun, empathetic and positive person. I am hoping to study Midwifery at university late September so I can achieve my dream job. People often describe me as 'child magnet' as where ever I go I seem to have a heard of children following me and wanting to play, which I really love. My family foster children so although I have no 'official experience', I have been looking after children since I was ten years old. I have looked after children aged 3 days old to 11 years old. I am very experienced with babies, including prematures. I can also cope under pressure as I have looked after twin toddlers which were a handful,particularly when they would run opposite ways. I have completed work experience at a nursery so I know what good care looks like and how to communicate with children. My exams will finish on the 17th June and then I have no further commitments until I start university in September. Therefore, I would be in the perfect position to help families who need flexible summer holiday childcare.

Communication skills, for example communicating efficiently with other team members to provide the best quality of care for the children. Talking to the children’s parents so they know exactly how their child has behaved and what they have learned for a certain day. Flexibility skills, for example I am flexible with my availability during weekdays, I am more than happy to be working full time hours like I have been doing for my previous 2 years of employment. Responsibility skills, for example taking care of the children, making sure they are looked after by making sure the children are safe at all times.

| I have lots of experience babysitting my cousins who range widely in age and demand. I have looked after children as young as new born and as old as 15. I also have experience looking after children with medical needs such as severe allergies and ADHD. During my year 10 work experience I spent a week at a nursery, but most of my childcare experience comes from looking after younger family members.

| I am a very caring individual that can come with recommendations if necessary. I am an outdoor instructor so I work with kids on a daily basis. They find me fun and bubbly and very easy to get along with. I help out at Sunday school so I have a lot of experience.
