| Hello! My name is Alisha. I qualified as an SNA in 2022. I worked as a camp supervisor and leader in which I looked after 25+ children at a time, ranging in ages from 3-14(mostly with the 3-5 age group). I am a reliable person and love making the kids laugh and making normal things fun for them!

| I am looking to gain more experience in childcare. I had done work experience in a nursery and also in a school. I love taking care of kids and have been babysitting since I was 15 :)

| I started my care journey of with child minding, I have been baby sitting from a young age I knew I loved working with children from get go. I moved onto study childcare in school and working part time in nursery, once I left school I then worked in private nursery with new borns - 3 year old and I loved every minute of it. I am bubbly, happy and fun kind of person and so our children thats what makes it such an easy job, I wanted to learn more about all aspect of care so for the last 4/5 years I've been working with dementia patients and pallative care which is equally rewarding. I currently work self employed and through agencies as it gives me a variety of choices in mean time I also do lots baby sitting. I have all up-to-date training regarding CPR, First-aid and moving handling.

| I have over 7 years of babysitting experience. I spent 2 years in america working in a summer camp where I was the leader of various group activities. I have paediatric first aid certification. I have experience with both special needs and typical needs. I spent 2 years as a teaching assistant in a local primary school and have work experince in a nursery as well as 2 years volunteering as a leader in my local Girls Brigade group. I am currently studying child development whilst working in a special school nursery unit. I have qualifications in both British Sign Language and Makaton. I have a current AccessNI check.
