After School Care Uckfield

| I have my level 4 in childcare and education as well as, first aid and many other behaviour qualifications. I also have my level 3 child psychology. I started working in a nursery as a student many years ago and worked up to deputy manager. I then went into nannying and have loved every minute of it. I have my own 4 year old son who starts school in September. He has come along to many of my jobs. I am available from 9-2 as I would need to take my son to school in Haywards Heath. These hours can be flexible in the afternoon as my son can do after school clubs. I am very bubbly and love being outdoors.

I love to be silly and have fun with the little ones and encourage them to play and be social together. Figuring out what each child loves and how they like to be interacted with is so interesting to me as everyone is so different. I am currently working as a senior play worker at after school and holiday clubs in the Brighton and Hove area, which means I supervise my colleagues as well as engaging with the children. I absolutely love my job, but as it is part time I am looking to increase my hours. I am hoping to find a second position with children as my longer term goal is to become a playtherapist! | So I began first looking after children when I was at school and and I was a mothers help after school. Then I studied my cache diploma level 3 which lead me to land a job in a nursery for 5 years. Roles included after school nursery worker then nursery worker and room leader of 2-3 year old. I then became a nanny. I left to have my son, and rejoined another family where I can bring my son with me. He is now 3.5 years. I always say he can be a companion for someone else's child/ children! I'm enthusiastic and passionate about what I do and always thinking of fun and exciting opportunities for the children I care for.

| I was a childminder for 13 years and still look after the severely disabled child and her brother after school. I have been working for the family for 8 years. I have worked in a local preschool for 12 years until I met this family. I have had several other children during my years as a childminder. I was with Sitters till Covid hit. I am a widow with a grown daughter, and have cats a dog and smaller pets! I love horses, reading and puzzles.
