After School Care Tamworth

| A mother of two grown up daughters aged 17 and 20, caring lady with over 20 years experience working within a school setting as a qualified teaching assistant in Foundation Stage 1. I have a husband and 2 doggies Charlie and Rumo, I love helping out looking after friends children and have loved my job but would now like a slight change and provide care for a family within the home. I am happy to help out with after school activities, playgroups and have loads of fun ideas for children who are not yet at school and need care during the day.

| I am looking for the following - babysitting jobs, helping out with pet walking and cleaning around the house. I am a 14 almost 15 year old (start of may) responsible girl looking for a small job for after school hours on weekdays but i am more flexible on weekends. I love looking after children and have some experience but can understand babysitting jobs will be a more complicated find due to my age. I have babysat and looked after 3 of my cousins who range from the age 2 to 11. I also currently voluntarily help out with teaching younger kids learn gymnastics, ranging from ages 5 to 10. I also am perfectly fine with pets and would love to walk yours if you are not available to, although I haven't had a pet of my own for a while i have walked and taken care of friends and family's pets. Finally I am perfectly capable to help with some activity's around the house like cleaning. I can also help with homework and other needs for younger school kids.

| In my youth age, I worked as a nursery nurse between 1997 and 2000, then I moved on to teaching in 2009. While occupying other positions in Luton Bedfordshire, I looked after my God daughter every weekend, from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon, as a place of respite and care from baby until the age of 3.

| I'm a mother of 3, I have 2 older children my youngest son is 2 years old, which is why I have some restrictions to when I can work and I dont drive. A lot of experience comes with raising your own children. I also worked in a school for 6 years, i left my previous job when I was pregnant with my son(and because of covid) I started as a lunchtime supervisor this continued throughout my time at Court Farm Primary School. I then got a role at the breakfast club. Shortly following that I got a job with the after school club as a play Co-ordinator. All of these jobs include playing and looking after the children, making sure they are safe, happy, healthy, having fun and learning too. I also did lots of training/courses/classes on the job and in college while I worked there. I attained my level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in school, so I also became a level 2 teaching assistant within the school, taking on many different roles. So I have work experience with all ages ranges throughout primary and I've worked in nurseries aswell. I have my First aid and Paediatric certificate, Food Hygiene, safeguarding, behavioural management, health and safety and more.

| At present I am employed as a nanny. I look after 2 children aged 9 months and 3 years. My duties involve caring for the children looking after all their personal and social needs from making sure the baby naps, feeding, playing helping with their development, making sure they are happy and any other duties the parents may need. Previously to this post I looked after 3 children from 4 to 12 years. My duties involve caring for the children, getting them ready for and taking to school, collecting from school, taking to any appointments and after school activities, supervising homework, playing with them, giving medication. During school holidays taking them to various activities. I also undertake housekeeping duties while they are at school. In the past I have worked as a Nursery Practitioner with over 6 years’ experience.

| I volunteer with a group called urban devotion Birmingham and we do after school club from school years 3 to year 13. I have been their for 4 years now.

| I have no prior nannying experience, however I have worked in early years childcare since i was 17, both school nurseries and private, and was an after school club leader after hours too! Nannying has always been something that has interested me and would definitely love to experience it. Reading is one of my passions and I would love to share the joy of literature with little minds and help them to expand their imaginations. I do not drive just yet but pick ups and drop offs can still be done if in walking distance!
