After School Care Strabane

| Experience I have outside of working in a childcare setting: I grew up around children mum childminded for years until I was in my second year of college. I was always helping her with the kids and entertaining them and feeding helping them with personal care and we were a host caring family for a child with complex needs and I was fully involved with helping them with their needs and got up in the night with them. As I got older I started babysitting mums friends children newborns+ during the day and I look after my 5 year old cousin a lot of the time and I babysat a lot for a couple that had 5 kids ages around 9-1 Experience work within a childcare setting; I have done lots of placements within a few different settings such as special needs, mainstream, Creches, nursery’s, after school setting. I am now currently working in an after school club that has children ages 5-11/12.

| I got my level 3 diploma childcare . I got a few years expierence working in a after school club (non - paid ) and I babysit for family. I got a updated DBS a check . And currently looking to update my first aid

| I have 3 years of experience from work placement in abc centre in lifford. During that time I would interact with the children, read them stories, keeping them occupied, help put on their costumes and encouraged them to help themselves. Prepare their classroom and clean up after them which also included to encourage them to clean up too! For older children (after school club) I made them food and entertained them and helped them with homework when it was needed.

| I child mind a little boy on the week days so I have quite the experience. I would be looking for afternoon times or the weekend. I also have a little nephew that has helped my experience with children & i am just over all a children person who enjoys being around them.
