After School Care St Andrews

| My name is Luka and I am a 19 year old student. This summer I am searching for a part time job and would love to be able to look after, entertain and spend time with babies and young children. Spending time with young kids has always been a passion of mine and because of this, I decided to volunteer for two years at an after school club in Perth, which aimed to teach English to young asylum seekers as well as playing games with the children and making sure they were having lots of fun! I would describe myself to be a happy and soft natured individual with a lot of patience and a love for making those around me smile! This summer I am hoping to begin my job as a babysitter and would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with your little tots! x

| I have a 9-year-old sister whom I've looked after and babysat since she was a newborn. Through her and her schooling, I met families that needed a babysitter. These jobs mainly consisted of looking after the children, ensuring the bath, doing activities with them, making their meals and putting them to bed. Furthermore, I've looked after family pets and can do light housework. I have a full clean driver's license and a car - I have previously transported children I've looked after when their parents need them to be somewhere or for after-school activities.

| At 24 years old I have accumulated a range experiences caring for a variety of children; aged 0-14 years old. Between school and university I have worked for several families, on separate occasions caring for an infant and three year old full time. Providing developmental experiences both within and out-with the home. After completing my university degree I worked as a full time nanny for a family caring for an infant and 5 year old. Assisting with educational development of the older child after school and engaging in enriching classes with the infant on a daily basis. Making meals, maintaining the family home and always leading thorough a child-centred and nurturing approach. I am now a fully qualified primary school teacher, working in school. However, as there is a teaching job shortage in Fife currently, I am looking for alternative work at the end of this academic year. I shall be seeking full time employment (Mon-Fri) for a family from late July 2025. | From ages 11 to ages 18 I have been babysitting my younger siblings from newborn to 7 years old. This included watching them over night, giving them meals, picking up from school/nursery/childminders, taking to after school clubs. I have also been doing house work and changing them as babies up to toddlers. Furthermore I have babysat other children that are not my siblings at ages 1 to 4. During high school I got a high qualification biology/chemistry and mathematics this included this included going to college regularly to do a foundation apprentiship in which I got to do a year of work experience at the Lifescan lab in Inverness. Whilst I do not have a car I am happy to pick up children via public transport or by foot. I am autistic myself aswell as my mother and my seven year old brother is presently going through the process of getting a ADHD diagnosis.

| My name is Poppy , I am 19 years old and I am about to stay a French degree at St Andrews in September. I'm friendly, kind and enthusiastic. I enjoy being creative by doing lots of arts and crafts. I love baking and especially sharing this passion with younger children. I am reliable and caring. For my gap year I was an au pair in France. During this time I looked after children after school ranging from two to thirteen. We did make believe games, arts and crafts, games and lots of playing outside. I prepared meals and Tok control of bath time with lots of stories and games. I also worked in a Montessori nursery for a bit. It was very child orientated and it was interesting to watch the children grow individually.
