After School Care Sandbach

| Hi families! I recently moved from the US to the UK and am looking to help families in the area with childcare! I have a 19 year old brother that I helped take care of since birth as my mother became a single mother soon after. I am looking to help parents near me with care while they work, when they need to get errands taken care of, after-school care, as well as when they want a night out to enjoy a nice dinner & movie. I also have tutoring experience for children up to age 10. I am comfortable watching kids for extended periods of time (up to 12 hours in one day). In the past I have worked at theme parks in the Florida and within my job title, we partnered frequently with school youth groups. I have experience caring for children as young as 6 months and as old as 16 years of age. I also have experience caring for kids with many different special needs. I love doing anything involving art or the outdoors. I can talk for hours with kids about their favorite Disney characters or playing pretend. Board games and Arts & Crafts are among some of my favorite activities to do with kids as well. I have plenty of references from childcare within the USA and I would be happy supply them if asked :)

| Id like to describe myself as a patient problem-solver, who applies this to every situation they come across which is why I find it so wonderful to care for kids whos parents need a break. Ive worked many jobs, none which have been as fulfilling as nannying; working with 7 families over 5 years, I’ve built extensive relationships with them, adopted their everyday routine into my shifts to be able to offer the kids a day where they feel at home. My responsibilities varied from picking up from after school activities, from the bus stop, cooking them meals/ preping school lunches for the next day, completing homework with them, tutoring, playing, washing/bathing them, ironing/washing their clothes for the next day and getting them into bed- I am with them every step of the way. As mentioned previously, nannying is a great fit for me, the gratification I get from taking care of people has always been ingrained on me and as such led me to pursue medicine, currently in my third year. This means I have a valid government mediated certification of CPR and first aid, so in any situation, your child will always be safe, clean, well fed, and having fun!

| I have always been a caring person I like to look after people and make sure they are happy, from as young as 14 I used to look after my younger cousins most nights after school. My brother used to be in a football team with other kids who had younger siblings and all of the parents used to ask me to baby sit the younger children every Friday or Saturday when they went out. I look after my boyfriends daughter two days a week also and she is 4 however I can care for any aged child.

| I have worked in a nursery for three years which has won multiple awards such as best nursery in the UK. I've also been an after school nanny during that time, preparing and cooking meals and doing a bedtime routine which I thoroughly enjoy. I have been a nanny for over two years now working with all ages between 4 months to 11 years. I've got a passion for working with children and have full understanding of the EYFS and love to promote learning and development. I am fully qualified as a level 3 nursery practitioner and have taken part in in-house training and many childcare training courses in Manchester. I have a National diploma in child care learning and development, safeguarding, first aid certificate and food hygiene I also hold a valid driving license and car.

| I am caring, flexible and reliable person, I have worked in the childcare settings, such as After school clubs and Nurseries for the past 16 years, looking after children from babies to the age of 14, I have also have helped to look after my nephew and nieces since they were all babies, I have a grown up son which gives me time for to be a Nanny or a babysitter. | I'm punctual and reliable and enjoy looking after children, as I have two of my own, one teenager and one grown up. I recently worked caring for a disabled family and enjoyed taking them out and about, assisting with the school runs morning and afternoon. I'm semi retired and looking for part-time work in ST6 area, school runs, babysitting and after school care, even to help with homework and meals if needed. Recently started using this site, so no referrals or recommendations achieved yet.
