After School Care Lydney

| My experience: I have 8 and half years experience working with children from new borns up to the age of 14. I have worked in nurseries, children's centre and I have been a nanny for 4.5 year. I have worked with children that have specials needs and have experience with twins as well as teenage children. Over the years, I have done proxy parenting and provided before and after school care. I am qualified at level 2 in chid care and education and I have completed my NVQ level 3 in children and young people’s workforce. I am currently ofsted registered, insured and hold a Level 3 paediatric first aid qualification. I am happy to run errands, do some housekeeping and take children to clubs and activities. I love working with children and find it rewarding being part of their day to day development. I am an active person and I enjoy being outdoors. My hobbies and interests include, camping, swimming, walking and keeping fit. Additionally, I have an interests in natural health and wellbeing, and I have an interest in astronomy.

| I am an OFSTED registered childminder in Thornbury. I am 26 years old and have a daughter who is 4 years old. We have several pets; dog, guinea pigs, tortoise, fish, giant African land snails. I accept the 30 hours funded childcare for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. I do school drop off and pick ups for Crossways and Christ the King primary Schools in Thornbury. We also offer a homework club after school. Every week we take the children to a local care home and take part in various activities with the residents of the home. This has proved to be lovely and beneficial to both the children and the residents. As a mum myself, I understand how hard it can be to leave your child with others which is why I aim to provide the same love, encouragement and learning they receive from you at home. It is important to me to have a strong working relationship with all parents and ensure continuity between my setting and your home.

| I am an enthusiastic, caring and fair young woman who has been nannying and babysitting for a number of families for 4 years. I enjoy spending time with the children through games, playing outdoors and baking etc. I am originally from Gloucestershire and live in a rural village therefore I have spent a lot of time with animals and in the countryside however I now live in Cardiff for university. Through my job as a nanny I have done school pick up/drop off, taken the children out on day trips, taken the children to their after-school activities, helped with homework, cooked dinner, bathed and put to bed and helped with some light household duties - all while ensuring the children are enjoying themselves. Alongside being a nanny/babysitter, I work at Manor Farm Holiday Care and Home Education throughout school holidays where I supervise a number of children within our care. This job involves getting 'stuck in' with activities while ensuring the children are safe. I am in my second year of university studying Environmental Geography. In my free time I enjoy horse-riding, spending time with my friends and walking my dogs. I am fully DBS checked and passed ITC Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid. I have a full UK driving license.

| Hello there! My name is Holly based in the Gloucestershire area. I currently work at an after school club, looking after the ages of 4-10. I have previously, during the summer, worked at a holiday camp with children between the ages of 8-17 learning english as a second language. Alongside this I have experience within at home babysitting. I have a enhanced DBS and have a NSPCC certification in Child Protection. I am flexible to your needs, and could possibly go full-time for the right family. :)
