| I am looking for some evening babysitting job around Malvern link. I am working as a teaching assistant at a nursery in Worcester. I have a special needs education degree from Budapest, first aid course, up to date DBS check. I have worked as an afternoon nanny in London looking after two lively boys for about 3 years and also as a teaching assistant in a private nursery for 2 years. We played a lot of educational games, worked on fine and gross motoric skills. I organised playdates, did some light house chores, cooked healthy meals for the children, occasionally babysitting for other families as well. | Hi! I'm Martha, and I am currently undertaking my Masters degree, before starting a PGCE in Primary Education this September. I am hoping to pick up some childcare experience, not only as experience before I dive into teaching, but also because I am passionate about creating fun, safe and educational environments for children to develop and thrive in. I have volunteered at two primary schools. I loved seeing how the children thrived in the creative learning environment. As an artist myself, I hope to bring some of my own skills to the table. I have also worked with the Family Support Team at my local hospice. Together we worked with small groups of children after school, exploring sensitive subjects in a creative, compassionate and empathetic manner. I also work closely with the Activities Coordinator at my local nursing home, to provide a better quality of life for our residents, many of whom have a very young mental age. Together we engage in group work such as art, baking, quizzes, sports, amongst other things. Overall, I believe that I am a capable and patient person, with a good sense of humour and a passion for inspiring children, and I greatly look forward to the opportunities that care.com might offer.
