Nanny/babysitter in Birmingham. 4 years experience, looking for the right fit :)

I have two younger cousins who I cared for regularly at 16 around my college hours. Aged 4&5 now 8&9. My main responsibilities involved after-school pickup, extracurricular drop off and pick up, helping with homework, cooking dinner and fun! Confident with housekeeping and cooking (coming from a family of 6 this is a long practiced skill) and ensure to always clean after the children and lead by example. During my gap year, I babysat more regularly including full days including school holidays. Through volunteering at Foodcyle I’ve learned to make healthy child-friendly meals while uplifting them. During my first year of University I was an after school nanny for a 5 year old boy with a very similar routine through a different care agency with a standard after school routine (making dinner, games, and if mom was working late, bath and bed time). I occasionally do overnight babysitting for family friends if they work nights and need a trusted adult at home, through this I have become confident with night time routines.
My hobbies include theatre, reading and video essays. Currently learning French and spend my spare time volunteering with FoodCycle and a local baby bank - causes close to my heart.
