After School Care Clacton-on-Sea

| I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Clacton-on-sea. I take funded and non-funded children aged 6 months to 4 years. I charge £5 per hour for daycare and £6 for after school pick ups or drop offs. | I started off my career working with children in a nursery from ages 3months- 5 years. I enjoyed getting the experience with all the age groups and gaining my diploma in children and young people's workforce level 2&3. I then moved onto nannying where I looked after a 4/5 and 7/8year old who were both at school. I did before and after school and Took On full time care with them in the holidays. I am currently On maternity leave but looking to return to work. Previously I was working with a 2 year old Tuesday- Thursday but unfortunately they no longer require a nanny. I now have a little one that I hope to bring along with me to the right job.

| I am an experienced level 3 NVQ practitioner, I have worked within nursery settings since I was 16 years old. I love working in the childcare industry and childcare is what I would like to pursue my career in. I am currently studying with open university to achieve my level 6 NVQ in childcare and education. Since working with children I have become experienced with safeguarding and have achieved my paediatric first aid certificate, I have also been on courses to support young children’s mental health. In my current role I run an after school club from ages 4-11, and throughout the day time work in a setting with children aged 4 months - 5 years. I am a hard working young lady and enjoy helping young children learn and watching their personalities develop. | Hi! My name is Mia and I am a 21 year old student at the University . Childcare is something I have experience in and frankly love doing. My mother is a nanny, so ever since I was little she has taken me to work with her, where I would,very often, help. So, I guess you could say I started early. :) I started babysitting at the age of 13 and since then have taken care of 5 children, not including my niece and nephew, whom I look after weekly. Like stated in the overview, I have no problem with cleaning up, putting the kids to bed, etc. With me you don't have to worry about your child. I love encouraging kids to explore their creativity through fun games, art projects, etc. I also have experience before and after school clubs. I worked with children aged 4-12 on a daily basis and I can honestly say that it was the best job I have ever had! I also have experience working with special needs children and obtain certificates in Food and Hand Hygiene, Fire Safety, Safeguarding and am First Aid trained. | From the age of 15 I worked in babysitting most nights after school, caring for children of all ages and even some with disabilities. I absolutely love children and have done a lot of volunteering in primary schools, helping with reading, playtime and much more. I was an au-pair at 18 in Italy, for several months after I took my A-levels. I cared for 3 children at the ages of 2, 6 and 9 by myself in the mountains in Umbria. Both parents worked in Rome. I cooked, cleaned, helped with homework, played music with my guitar and lots of singing and generally cared for them by myself making sure their every need was catered for while there parents couldn't be. I participate in all sports, in particular I love bike riding and have my own that takes me everywhere. I am DBS checked and have many people who would happily vouch for me as a highly capable child carer. I have attained my GCSEs and A-levels so I'm more than happy to help with any homework or school work needs.

| I have worked within childcare for the last 5 years in lots of different ways, I started at a preschool and then moved onto a nursery which also had a after school club, I then worked for tui managing and participating in childcare roles in the hotels for ages 0-11 in Spain, Italy and the French alpes, I now run a baby room at a nursery in Colchester 0-2 years.
