After School Care Bewdley

I have been working with children for over 27 years now. I am NNEB trained and became a nanny in Cheshire. I have worked in a catholic primary school for 15 years with nursery to 8 yesr olds. I have also been a Deputy Manager of a before school and after school club in Bewdley. For the last 9 years, I have been working in a local primary school with SEN Autism and communication difficulties. I am now a registered childminder working from my own home. I believe in giving children the very best start in life, making them feel safe and secure so they can grow and develop to their best potential. I have two children of my own who are 21 and 15 years old. I am very passionate about working with the early years and love my job.

| I have completed 800 hours of work experience with many different ages in many different placements including getting experience in schools and nurseries. Have previous nanny experience and worked summer seasons for TUI as a kids rep and baby club rep. I have been working for TUI as a kids rep and baby club rep over the summer and have now completed 4 seasons with them. I have previously worked in a special needs school working with children in small groups and 1:1 to. I also previously worked in a school nursery and the along side 7-6 (before and after school care) unit working with the children from baby’s to reception age. | I have qualifications in my level 3 Btec national diploma in childcare, learning and development. I have worked in number of roles involving children and young people both in an EBD home with children in care and young people in a home and private school who have Autism/learning difficulties with challenging behaviour and I loved my role as a residential education support worker. I have experience working in two day nurseries and one after school club/youth club.I have also worked two seasons abroad as a Kids entertainer for Thomas Cook across three resorts in Turkey in ####/####. I worked with ages 2-13 and did daily fun activities, games and parties as well as hosting and running mini discos 5 nights a week, I’ve worked with a number of children and loved every single minute of it. I have also had the opportunity to work in a German forestry school April 2013 for two weeks working with children 4-5 and I got to experience how they learn through self experience and touch.

| I regularly compete in national and local taekwondo competitions. I have recently gained my assistant instructor qualification which came with an enchant DBS check. The qualification has allowed me to run successfully after school clubs. I also have recently achieved my 1st dan black belt.

| Hello my name is Isabel I have gained a level two in children and young people, I worked in a baby room and nursery for two years and loved every minute. I was a key worker and observed and monitored the children’s development. I have gained work experience working in a primary schools after school and summer club, I planned activities for the children and enjoyed teaching them new skills. I am currently a child and family support worker for the NHS part time and enjoy working directly with children again. I have a two year old daughter, I love being s mum it’s the best job!
