| I come from a big family with five siblings so I’m very familiar with the joys and challenges of family life. In addition I have experience working as a babysitter for children of all ages.

| I’ve been working a lot with children with many ages and backrounds, also with children with special needs. My friends and family would describe me as a determined and kind person. I’m easy to get along with. Some of qualities my friends admire in me are my kindness, creativity, and determination. I also am spontaneous tho a little bit shy at first. I value honesty, loyalty, and independence. I’m a naturally curious and creative person who loves exploring new ideas and challenges. I’m introverted and tend to be reflective, preferring meaningful conversations over small talk. I’m often seen as a reliable and empathetic friend. While I can be perfectionistic at times, I’m learning to balance my drive for excellence with self-compassion. Becoming an au pair is a unique experience that offers a blend of cultural exchange, personal growth, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on a family's life. It allows me to fully immerse in a new culture, learning the language, customs, and traditions from a local perspective. I enjoy working with children, being an au pair gives me the chance to positively influence their development, offering care, guidance, and support.

| Hei! Olen 29- vuotias nainen Pohjois-Karjalasta. Rauhallinen, lämminhenkinen ja ihmisläheinen tyyppi joka viihtyy ihmisten parissa. Hoivavietti lienee sisäsyntyinen sillä jo nuoresta saakka olen hoitotyöstä haaveillut. Ammatiltani olen siis sairaanhoitaja, lähihoitajan tutkinto pohjalla. Tehnyt työtä pääsääntöisesti psykiatristen asiakkaiden ja mielenterveys haasteiden sekä kehitysvammaisten parissa. Lastenhoidosta myös vuosien kokemus, lähinnä sisarusten lastenhoito mutta myös työn tiimoilta lasten parissa ollut, mm. erityistarpeisten lasten lyhytaikainen hoito ja huolenpito.

| Olen 48 vuotias koulutettu lastenhoitaja ja vammaisten avustaja. Olen työskennellyt päiväkodissa, perhepäivähoitajana ja lapsiperheiden kotona, sekä asiakaspalvelutyössä yrittäjänä. Olen matkustellut paljon ja nyt kun lapseni ovat isoja, minulla olisi aikaa ja elämäntilanteeni mahdollistaisi työskentelyn myös ulkomailla. Minulle kävisi hyvin myös tuntityöt tai osa-päiväinen työskentely, tai mikä sitten olisikaan tarpeesi. Olen työssäni ahkera ja tunnollinen ja kunnioitan perheesi tilannetta ja elämänkatsomusta. Ymmärrän hyvin englantia ja puhun sitä jonkin verran, perusasiat varmasti selviävät.

| I am 24 years old Katri from Finland and I have a basic degree in social and health care. I am currently working as a teaching assistant in a special class in elementary school. I have worked as a teaching assistant for 5 years. In addition to my regular job, I have done many different jobs, e.g. Childcare. I have worked with 0-13 year olds. Experience has been gained from working with children with special needs. As an au pair, I would be able to provide childcare, study support, housekeeping and cooking. I have received a lot of compliments while working with children, both from children and parents. In the work environment, I am reliable and approachable, as well as a warm personable person. Creativity is important to me and I like crafting, implementing creative learning methods and supporting children to express themselves and bring out their own strengths. The number of children is not so important to me. I am used to working in a group with 10 special need students and I am familiar with group management. I'm not afraid of sudden situations. My language skills are Finnish, moderately good level English I would like to learn to speak even better and the basics of Spanish.
