We're looking for a pet sitter for when we go away. We are ideally looking for someone who we can trust and can use whenever we go away who can create a bond with our dogs and cats.
We have two shepskies, they are very friendly and lovable just big and bouncy at the same time. They can be quite anxious so we don't like to leave them alone for longer than 2.5 hours as i work from home they aren't used to it.
They can be a little reactive on the lead when getting to close to another dog and grumble and get bouncy, this isn't aggression but more from frustration at being on the lead. We used to be dog boarders ourselves and the reactiveness started once we stopped dog boarding and they weren't able to play with other dogs anymore. They stay on the lead at all times as they have a high prey drive and would disappear. They do sleep in the bedroom with us on the floor.
The cats are indoor cats and very independent. They just need feeding and having their litter changed. They do love a snuggle on the sofa in the evenings though.
