We are looking for a fun, active, and responsible pet sitter near Lydney. Love and care of animals is foremost but we would like applicant to help with cleaning our house for two sessions of 4 hours a week. That way, the animals get to know the person properly. Included in the time would be a dog walk for approximately 40 minutes, and time for a tea break. We have cats and a young collie cross dog. Occasionally, we will need the applicant to mind the animals whilst we are away. This will be for between 4 days and 10 days at a time, and we will pay for this separately. The applicant could either have our dog (Jessie) at their house and come to our house morning and night to check the cats or they could stay here in our house. We live in a very decrepit, old farm house in the countryside. We would prefer to have no children staying in the house because our cats are a little scared of children that they do not know. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to caring for our animals when we are away, because that is the whole point of employing somebody to come regularly twice a week to prepare the animals and them for when we are away.
