Hello.....I'm looking for a pet sitter I can call on when I need to be away from home overnight. I have a funeral to go to in January down South (don't know the date yet) but it will be 1 or 2 nights away, a couple of days away in April, and a holiday in September that will be 20 nights.
Someone who can stay in the house overnight is the most important as my 2 dogs (Lucy and Freddie) are older and Lucy has gone deaf this year so she is still adjusting to this and she needs to go out once she's up in the morning, or she'll leave you a present in the kitchen! Only Lucy needs to be walked in the morning after breakfast in the park at the back of the house as Freddie won't leave the garden - he's a Romanian rescue who's been with me 3 years and we haven't got past the fear of strange places yet.
They are used to me going out to work full time, so during the day you could do other jobs - I don't expect someone to be here 24 hours. I also have 4 cats (Batman, Hamish, Zoe and Jasper) who are easy to take care of - none of the animals needs medication or anything like that.
Ideally I'm looking for someone mature who is very reliable and won't let me down at the last minute and who has experience and references for both dogs and cats.
