I am waiting for an appointment for a home visit from a charity with a view to adopting a Border Collie. I will need some support to break up his day while I’m at work so I'm looking for a dog walker or a sitter. He would need an hour’s walk or, if the weather’s bad say, maybe a short walk and spending time playing with him/let him out in the garden for an hour. I would initially need Tues to Thurs every week but I don’t know a start date until they’ve completed their checks (I had to put a start date in to proceed to this point). I will need to let them know what support I’ll have available which is why I’m contacting you now, to see if adopting Fergus is feasible/fair. I am hoping to take two weeks off work when I get him to get him used to me and his surroundings; it would also be a good time to introduce him to you. They have outlined fear of traffic and loud noises, such as horns. He pulls on the lead too, which I’m hoping to be able to work on. If you think you may be able to help, I'd appreciate any ideas you may have about what time of day would suit.

We are looking for a dog sitter to sit with our dog in Cartmel Thursday 5th of May from 6pm till 10:30pm while we go to dinner. Happy to pay fuel surcharge and costs.
