I have very recently moved to Canterbury and my house sitter for my upcoming holiday has had to pull out for personal reasons. Therefore, I need a dog sitter with pet care experience and references to stay in my home for a 12 day period, 1st - 12th December. I have a lovely Lurcher (old girl now at 13) who loves everyone and everything.. and a nervous, so a bit yappy mixed breed (think jack russell mixed with a corgi haha). He takes a bit of time to warm to people but its only as he is nervous so barks and runs away, then is fine after a day or so. I live walking distance into Canterbury city centre in a 3 bed house. We are in urgent need of a dog sitter who is reliable and trustworthy. Our 6 year old spanish water dog has always been left with family or friends when we have gone away, but I would like to find a dog sitter as sometimes this is just not possible. Lola is a super affectionate and slightly anxious girl, who likes human attention but can be nervous around other dogs - a bit scared of bigger dogs, and sometimes reactive towards med/ smaller dogs. For these reasons the ideal would be to find someone who either doesn't have a dog at home and can care for her there, or would be able to come to our house.
