I have a 12 year old indoor cat called Rosie. I am looking for a cat sitter to feed Rosie, clean her litter tray if needed, and spend time 2/3 times daily when I am out of town. She is a very nervous cat, she is very skittish when anyone is stood up, and will hide away, however she loves attention and stokes and treats. My mum usually comes to feed her, spend an hour with her giving her love if she wants it, and talking to her and keeping her company whilst I’m on long shifts at work or out of town, however my mum can no longer commit to this. Rosie was adopted from an elderly lady that passed, and spent all day every day with company, so she gets quite depressed when left for long periods on her own. Rosie only had 3 teeth and is an extremely fussy eater. Rosie only tends to eat fish based meals, and enjoys company whilst eating. She has a water fountain she drinks out of and I put fresh water in this for her every day. Ideally I would like someone that could spend 30 minutes to an hour with her twice a day, to build up her confidence and trust with people again, and encourage her to eat her food and give her attention.
