I am suffering with slipped discs in my back. I used to take great pride in my home, cleaning it thoroughly and maintaining a spotless environment. I am no longer able to undertake any domestic chores. I live with my husband and adult son, both of whom are not very tidy and do not share my values when it comes to cleanliness. We have a lady who comes in for four hours each week. She does a commendable job all things considered. I am not looking to replace my current cleaner, I am looking for extra help in support of her and a wider remit to include tidying. I would like assistance from someone who can help TIDY and clean by placing items into their rightful places (using common sense) and putting any uncertain items into a box for my attention. My main goal is to see clear countertops! I would also be interested in anyone who could assist with reorganizing crowded wardrobes and cupboards as my husband and son’s solution to clutter is to just stuff it anywhere they can fit it! We have three friendly crate-trained cocker spaniels, and two friendly house cats which contribute a lot of dust and shed fur. I prefer to maintain spotless counters so they can be cleaned quickly and hygienically several times per day. An animal lover would be desirable so that there are no allergy or fear issues. However I do not expect anyone to be pestered by my cats or dogs whilst carrying out work in my home and there is absolutely no requirement to clean up after them. Rest assured we are not in a hoarding situation; it is simply too untidy for my more OCD tendencies! We have three double bedrooms, two of which feature en-suite shower rooms. Additionally, there is a smaller bedroom currently utilized as an office, a family bathroom, and a sitting room that is rarely used except during Easter and Christmas. We also have a separate dining room, a large kitchen with a lounge area, a walkthrough utility room, a cloakroom/WC, as well as a hall, stairs, and landing.
