Tring Housekeeping and Cleaning Jobs

Our wonderful Housekeeper is leaving us due to her own family commitments I am 75 years old and my wife is 73 years but suffers from Dementia and Alzheimer’s. As a result, she is no longer able to undertake any household chores or look after herself. As her primary carer, at times it is difficult for me to leave her or undertake maintenance and other tasks around our property without another person being present. I am now seeking a new female Housekeeper who will be required to spend around 15 hours per week, spread across five weekday mornings/early afternoons. I need someone who is personable, an excellent worker and who can provide kind and considerate companionship for my wife. The current role will encompass cleaning throughout the house, ironing and helping to deal with associated daily requirements. As my wife’s illnesses are degenerative, I ideally require a Housekeeper who has the ability to expand her hours to take on additional work to assist with any increased care requirements in the future. We also have two dogs (Retriever and Labrador) and the Housekeeper must be comfortable with them at all times, especially if we are not at home. The Housekeeper will need her own transport as we live in a village and be located no more than 45 minutes’ drive time away. If you are interested to discuss this, please contact me.
