Hi, I'm looking for a reliable, thorough person to clean 8 large rabbit enclosures (24 x 7ft each, approximately) twice per week at my small, private bunny sanctuary where 21 adored bunnies have found their forever home. This could be Mon and Thurs or Tuesday and Friday. Alternatively, it could be split across Mon and Tues AND Wednesdays and Fridays, or include the weekends. Hence I've ticked every day as it depends how it's split. The time of day/evening is flexible. Afternoons are preferred. The role involves carefully sweeping out hay, droppings and litter from sheds and external enclosures, disinfecting the sheds and replacing with clean litter/duvets and hay. Full instruction will of course be provided. Due to the scale, it's probably closer to cleaning out kennels or stables than the type of hutch so many rabbits are sadly confined to. This usually takes 8-9 hours per week, approximately. Occasional house-bunny sitting also available. I look forward to hearing from you!

Carer required for semi-professional rabbit rescue / pet home. 5+ hours per week, with great rate of pay for right applicant. Basic knowledge of high standard animal care crucial, but no qualifications needed. 7 purpose built concrete floored encloses and large play pens and houses to clean and disinfect thoroughly, as well as daily care of sweeping & water changing. (Feeding and possible medications to administer if I am out.) Hours are flexible- I've listed mornings during the week but afternoons and weekends are also good. My bunnies have a decent amount of space! The total enclosure measures approx 34 feet x 25 feet (ie this is not a position requiring cleaning for 7 tiny, cruel hutches.) Would be IDEAL for someone who has experience in animal shelter work/professional stables or kennels. This is because of the size of the enclosures- they take up the whole garden. 16 utterly gorgeous much-loved friendly bunnies who are very easy to be with. Successful applicant must be reasonably flexible, have an infinite love and experience of animals, lots of common sense, not frightened to get their hands dirty, energetic, thorough and above all be reliable. A possibility of extra hours (for example, if I am out/away), and also additional hours if interested for same rate of pay. Interested?
