About the Family: We are a warm, friendly, and busy family of four with two young children. As parents with demanding professional lives, we’re looking for a reliable, dedicated, and meticulous housekeeper to help keep our home running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable in a family environment, proactive, and has a strong eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning: - Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing. - In particular, ensure bathrooms, kitchen, living areas and bedrooms are thoroughly cleaned. - Periodical cleaning of rooms that are used less frequently. Laundry and Ironing: - Wash, dry, and fold laundry. - Iron clothes as needed (although we currently do vey little ironing!) - Put laundry away. Washing Up and Kitchen Support: - Wash dishes, load and unload the dishwasher, and keep the kitchen tidy. Tidying and Organisation: - Tidy and organise bedrooms, children’s play room, kitchen and boot room. Potential Cooking Support (Optional): - Prepare simple meals (we tend to batch cook) or assist with meal prep as needed. Requirements: - Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or domestic support preferred. - Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills. - Attributes: Discreet, reliable, proactive, and flexible, with a warm and friendly attitude. - Physical Ability: Capable of managing tasks that require moderate physical activity, including cleaning and lifting light items. - Language: Basic English proficiency for clear communication. Preferred: - Experience in family households, especially with young children. - Basic knowledge of cooking or meal preparation. -Familiarity with family schedules and the ability to work independently.
