Hi my mother is 85 and has dementia. She is also incontinent , diabetic on insulin administered by district nurse. She needs help with her hygiene. She eats and drinks on her own but needs reminding about medication. She lives with my elderly father . He has good brain function and is mobile but his hand shakes ( tremor ) and has stoma bag so he needs help with changing his bag 2 times a day. My mother recently developed leg pain due to arthritis and is unsteady on her feet. She uses a commode and walks with frame . They have carers coming in 4 times per day and a night carer ( sleeping hours) from 10 pm to 7 am so my mum can be helped with using the commode 1 or 2 times per night. Mum has a bed alarm. They are on their own in between the carer visits. Please let me know if you are available for live in care. Are you insured? Have up to date DBS check? Do you have dementia and stoma experience? Do you have any care qualification? Have you worked for a care institution ? How many weeks can you work and who can cover you if you are on holiday or unwell?
