We are looking for a carer to fit into our parents life. Assistance is needed with personal care, medication, meal prep amongst other daily tasks. Both have dementia but both have different needs to each other. Mornings start at 8am, but that can be flexible and evening 4.30ish until 8.30, again this can be flexible. We would prefer someone that has knowledge of diabetes and dementia, but will be given training. Car driver preferred but not essential. Very hands on supportive family.

Care is required for an elderly couple - husband and wife. We need someone to work on a Friday morning from 8.30am until 14.30 and a Friday evening 16.30 until 20.30. The same hours are required every other weekend too. The job entails assisting with showering and mobilization of the gentleman and prompting the showering of the wife. Assisting to dress him, medication for both and preparing of breakfast for both. They are block hours and during this time the expectation is that you will do exercises given by physio with the husband and other days we sit and play scrabble or do quiz shows on tv. Each day is different, but either way it s a lovely rewarding job and the family are incredibly supportive. This role can be met by one person, which is preferable or 2 if need be. If the weather is good you can take them out for lunch or for a drive, they both love to go for a Rossi. The role entails personal care, medication management and a whole load of tlc. You must either have the appropriate training or be prepared to undertake this and will also need to have insurance.
