Hi, I am looking for an elderly care provider in Oban PA34 - a beautiful location! The client suffers from vascular dementia, and does not speak much. I would like someone who is kind, experienced, reliable and trustworthy and is able to communicate clearly. The position would need to be live in unless you live locally. Your responsibilities would mainly be to provide a calm and reassuring presence so that I can take a break from 24/7 caring and have some days out and mini camping trips. . Most likely it would be just over the summer, ideally a 3 weeks on 1 week off cycle, but am open to other options which suit your schedule. This is a temporary position, as the client is palliative, but he has other carers coming in to do all personal care. He is totally bedbound, but can drink his nutritional drinks independently with encouragement. It is a very relaxed position and you would be free to do your own studies/ crafts etc whilst in the home, as long as you prioritised making the client feel safe and comfortable.
