We are looking for a third Carer to join our team with elderly care experience for a lovely Gentleman with a great sense of humour who has poor mobility. You will be responsible for Live-in care. you are not called during the night. Be aware there is only one bathroom.

Hi, my name is Anita and I am looking for an elderly care provider in Henfield BN5. I would like someone who is experienced, reliable and trustworthy. Your responsibilities will include services such as Personal care (e.g washing, dressing), Companionship and Live-out care. Please apply if you think you'd be a good match for our family. My Dad is 85, he had covid in March this year and overnight it affected his mental health. He went from looking at his online banking to the next day literally not remembering how to brush his teeth. He has had three hospital admissions. The most recent was because he went out at 2 am and over in the lane. Luckily I woke up and found him. I'm his full time carer. I do my best but sometimes I get tired too so it will be great to have some much needed help. He has periods of hyper delirium and low delirium. Care at night would be making sure that he is safe in bed and stays in bed! He can walk with a stick but needs support and lots of prompting. Care during the day would involve helping him to wash and dress and encouraging his independence. My Dad is a kind, funny guy who is always appreciative of carers. He will also benefit from seeing a new face and is interested in any stories and interests you have if you are willing to share. I live here full time and so does my Mum. My Dad is always motivated to try to get better and appreciates any suggestions from carers. I do have a small dog, she is very friendly. Please do get in touch with me if you think you could help.
