My father has dementia, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and cancer. His dementia and Alzheimer’s is really affecting his everyday life and my mum is struggling with him. We want to find someone who we can trust to help care for him. Duties would be morning coming in to change him dress him and sometimes giving him a bath. Most days will be changing as he is incontinent so morning afternoon and evening. Food and medication my mum deals with so there’s no help needed there. But at the start we want to try and build the trust of someone for an hour a day or more to see him and my mum so they can build the trust. It’s taken a huge step to ask for help. They live in frinton on sea and it is 15 mins walk from the station. Also I would require someone who has a picture in their profile.

This job requires driving an older male adult & occasionally his wife to and from errands such as grocery shopping, chemist, other appointments. Both are able to enter and exit the car but will need assistance with carrying groceries. Patience is required. Both are in their late 80s and walk slowly. Car must be able to take a folding wheelchair.
