I am looking for someone available for between 1 to 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), you can choose which days and how many days. I am looking for a Carer for my mother, who is a wonderful lady in her early 80’s; always happy, kind, and with a great sense of humour. She is a retired nurse/ midwife/ health visitor and has not lost that caring nature. The Carer should be able to drive, flexible, and not live with pets (cat/ dog). Mum can walk with a Zimmer frame for short distances. She does have diagnosed memory issues, but they are stable. She is able to chat, remember people and enjoy life :). Mum lives to the west of Carlisle. Activities with for Mum would include taking her out (garden centre, etc.), chatting with her at the house, house cleaning and a little gardening when the weather is better. I live with Mum and can fully care for her when the Carer would like a holiday. Payment would be by bank transfer at the end of each month. Hi, I am looking for a Carer for my mother, who is a wonderful lady in her early 80’s; always happy, kind, and with a great sense of humour. She is a retired nurse/ midwife/ health visitor and has not lost that caring nature. Ideally the Carer would be able to drive (and willing to drive our vehicle that has a ramp and so can easily accommodate Mum's scoter), experienced, local, flexible, and not live with pets (cat/ dog). Mum can walk with a Zimmer frame for short distances, can dress herself, use the toilet unaided and do the washing up! She does have diagnosed memory issues, but they are stable. She is able to chat, remember people and enjoy life :). Mum lives to the west of Carlisle. Mum attends a Day Care Centre Monday to Friday from 9-am to 4-pm. We are looking for someone available Saturdays, for around 4 to 6 hours. On Saturday, about one hour would be taken helping her take a shower, and the remaining - about half the time would be spent directly helping Mum/ taking her out (e.g. to a garden centre), and about half the time spent cleaning the house or doing some work in the garden. I live with Mum and can fully care for her when the Carer would like a holiday. Payment would be by bank transfer at the end of each month.
