I provide a companion and driving service on the North West side of Bristol (inc. Thornbury) for people who need a little more help and support to safely get out and about. I started trading 3.5 years ago and, from a standing start, have steadily grown a small business. The work is very rewarding & does improve quality of life for my clients; for example taking a lovely 94 year old out once a week (her only outing) to do her shopping & have cafe visit or lunch together, transporting a young man with learning disabilities to college, outings, medical appointments, etc. My issue is that I'm running out of capacity and could really use a part-time, maybe even full-time companion driver – could that be you? If you have experience of working with the elderly, people with learning disabilities and mental health issues (for example dementia), you might be the person I’m searching for! Kindness (and patience!), common sense and reliability are essential – training can be provided. I look forward to hearing from you.
