Am looking for someone to help me look after my 68year old Husband who has Alzheimer’s, plus he has oedema in both feet which is making walking very difficult and he is occasionally loosing his balance, he also has constipation problems. Ideally this would be from from 11pm to 9-10am 3 nights/mornings per week. We have been self isolating for nearly 3 months, and would ideally prefer someone who is not working for anyone else. We live in the BB18 area. I already have a Carer who works for us, 3/4 nights a week & the occasional day & there may be some extra hours during the day. We all take the strictest of medical safety with regard to Covid19. Originally I had been covering the nights that our Carer couldn’t do and unfortunately I am struggling due to back and knees problems. Typical night with Husband get ready for bed including Pull-up pants and pads, he can wake up around 4 or 5 am change pad and pull-up and Kylie bed pad, he will probably wake up between 6&7am and will probably need pad changing. Get him up approx 8am breakfast and help with shower. There is a doubled bedroom opposite his bedroom and bathroom in between. Please email if you think you can help

We are a family living in Barnoldswick and need help for our Mum who is the main carer for Dad. We're looking for a friendly face who can become an extended part of our family by offering companionship and support to both Mum and Dad a few hours per week. Ideally we need someone to help motivate Dad to do some simple exercises at home and to be happy chatting to him about the things he loves to talk about for a few hours a week while Mum goes shopping, hairdressers etc. Dad is a very contented chap who still enjoys life but who unfortunately has had to stop driving and has some mobility problems as he soon gets short of breath.
