**Job Title: Nanny for Two SEN Children** **Working Hours:** 11 hours per day, split shifts from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and experienced nanny to care for our two children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have a background in childcare, particularly with SEN children, and a genuine passion for nurturing and supporting their development. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Morning Routine (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM):** - Assist children with morning hygiene, dressing, and breakfast. - Facilitate any morning therapies, educational activities, or exercises as prescribed. - Engage children in age-appropriate and developmentally suitable activities. - Ensure children are ready for any appointments, classes, or activities scheduled. 2. **Afternoon/Evening Routine (3:30 PM - 8:30 PM):** - Pick up children from school or afternoon activities if applicable. - Prepare and serve healthy snacks and dinner. - Assist with homework and educational tasks. - Engage children in play, creative activities, or relaxation time. - Assist with evening hygiene routines, including bathing and bedtime preparations. - Ensure a calm and positive environment to help children wind down for the night. **Requirements:** - Proven experience as a nanny, especially with SEN children. - Understanding of various SEN conditions and appropriate care techniques. - Ability to engage and communicate effectively with children of different developmental stages. - Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude. - Ability to handle emergencies and remain calm under pressure. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. - First Aid and CPR certification preferred. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in child development or special education is a plus. - Background check and references required. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. - Supportive and understanding family environment. - Opportunities for professional development and train.
