We are moving to North Devon in August and need a nanny/childminder for our youngest who will be 20 months at that point. This would also include 1/1.5 hours of afterschool care for our 6 year old alongside our toddler on certain days. We are looking for someone from August 2023 to January 2024 to do 4 days a week (not Mondays) with hours of roughly 9-5. From January next year our little boy will be at preschool and from that point we are looking for school pick up and after school care. We are searching for a nurturing and fun-loving nanny for 2 adorable girls; one of whom has special needs and requires particular feeding. I am looking for a reliable nanny to provide childcare for our 3 children. There are two older children (aged 16 & 18) wandering about but they are self sufficient getting themselves off to college and very competent at getting themselves snacks! Our one year old is a very sweet natured baby and she is the one you would be taking care of all the time. Our two year old has a golden ticket and goes to nursery on Monday afternoons. He has a delay in some areas of his development so it would be great if you have experience of this and can carry on/devise your own activities to help him develop. He is a cheeky, cuddly toddler obsessed with cars! Both of the smalls love singing action songs and reading books. We use makaton to supplement language - not lots of signs so don’t worry if you haven’t used it, I can show you. Our 7 year old is at school and loves unicorns and music - she is adapting to having younger siblings and moving house and it’s all a bit much for her sometimes! The nursery and school are within a 7 minute walk of our house and we are near the town centre bus stops so driving isn’t essential, the 7 year old likes to scoot every where and the two year old likes to walk part of the way now there are puddles to splash in! We require care to start at 7.30/8am, and finish at 1pm (with the nursery drop off) on Wednesday, or 5pm on Tuesday and Thursday. You will need to make a meal for the 3 children ready for 4:30/5pm. The smalls are in a routine now, they both nap at the same time which is lovely! We like to attend groups or activities some days and there are a few parks and recs near our house. It would be nice if you could carry out a few light housekeeping tasks, e.g. loading the dishwasher, putting any washing on that is created by the children and vacuuming the dining room and lounge if needed, but it isn’t essential. We’d like you to have at least a years experience, be paediatric first aid trained and CRB checked. I haven’t left the smalls with anyone apart from family yet, (because I’ve been on maternity leave for ages!), so I’m keen to find the right person for our family. Pet wise: we have an old cat who will occasionally come into the same room as the babies, get her fur pulled, remember why she avoids the smalls and disappear back to her chair upstairs.

Hello, I'm Claire and I'm looking for a responsible nanny for my children. You must be OFSTED registered or willing to do this ASAP. It would be great if you have a few years of experience and references. I have been looking for months for a sensible and kind registered childcarer to help me with my 4 children. I can offer work Monday to Friday from 7am - 8/9pm and alternating Saturdays, plus some overnights/babysitting (not all those hours but before and after school - bedtime hours essential). For that reason, I have advertised previously for live-in as this seems to suit everyone better given the key before/after school hours, but a situation where there may be some overnights in the month for local live out would equally be acceptable. My 3 older children go to school in Tiverton and my 3 year old to a local nursery 2.5 days a week. As I said, ideally I am looking for live in but the reality is, now I am going through chemo I want someone with solid support skills available to the children and able, in the event of emergency, to be available sole carer as I do not have a partner.
