Hello, our lovely nanny is going to be moving to Edinburgh shortly and I am starting the search for a new nanny! We live in Eddleston and have 2 lovely little girls, my eldest is aged 4 yrs 3 months (so she will go to school in August 2018), and my youngest has just turned 18 months. My elder girl currently goes to nursery on a Monday, then pre-school (West Linton) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Our current nanny looks after the youngest on a Monday and then both girls on a Wednesday and Friday in our home. On a Friday my neighbours little girl (aged 3 years 8 months) joins in too. At the moment I work on a Monday (from home) and a Wednesday and Friday in my office (in Edinburgh) so the ideal hours we would need a nanny for would be 8am to 4.30pm on a Wednesday and a Friday and possibly a few hours on a Monday. These days and times are not set in stone however as my work is very flexible so I would be open to changing my working days/times, so long as I managed to maintain my total hours per week. We are open to other children (i.e. the nanny's own children, or other children she cares for) joining in too. Duties would include giving the girls a healthy lunch and snack, and ensuring the little one gets a good nap! Ideally we are looking for someone with plenty of experience caring for children (their own or in a more formal setting) who enjoys getting involved in games, creative activities and lots of outdoor fun. Own transport would be great but not essential, and a non-smoker please. Salary would be in the range of £8 per hour. Looking forward to meeting you!
