Hello. We have recently relocated to Ashford Carbonel and are looking for a close to full time nanny to look after our 16 month old son called Joey. We are looking for someone to look after him from around 9-5 Monday - Wednesday, 8-6 on a Thursday and 9-3 on a Friday. This would typically be during term time, so September - mid December, January - April, May - July. I am a Professor at Warwick University and my partner is an Engineer. We are both working full time though I will be working 3 or 4 days from home. I will definitely be in the office on a Thursday. There is some flexibility with my work if the hours required don’t quite fit with your availability. We have a good size house and even when I am working from home, it would be fine for you to be at the house as well. We have a fair amount of land and Joey loves being outside. We are a busy working family - both my partner and I work for the NHS. We have 2 daughters age 5 (yr 1 at primary) and 1 (at nursery). We require a nanny with a degree of flexibility to help with afterschool care. Future would include collecting eldest from school bus stop, driving to collect youngest from nursery, after school play time, reading/homework for eldest, dinner prep/serving, taking to swimming lesson (eldest), bath and bedtime. Due to the nature of our work the days would change but would be known and agreed in advance. Alternatively fixed days could be agreed with some flexibility for extra days as needed. We would prefer a non smoker. Must also be pet friendly; we have a cat and a dog. Must have a full U.K. driving licence due to our rural location.
