Nanny Needed for Our Child in London. Pickups from School.

by Klentiana • Hammersmith and Fulham
We're looking for a nanny (or two nannies, given the two kinds of task below) who can: (1) Pick up our son (who is 10) from school, Monday-Friday, 4pm - 7pm, near Marble Arch / Edgware Road at 4pm, take him home to West Brompton by tube (from Edgware Road), cook him a simple meal at home and sort out his school clothes for the next day (e.g. may require putting some washing/drying on or ironing a shirt). Our son is very well behaved and mature for his age. (2) Cover, full-time, most of the school holidays, i.e. apart from when we are actually away (the full school holidays are Easter: 25 March - 12 April; Summer: 8 July - 30 August; Christmas: 16-20 December). We recognise we may need two people for these two aspects, so if you think you can only do one of them, that does not rule you out. Subject to where you live, we are willing to pay for time taken by you travelling to the school at the start of your shift. We have one small dog who is very well behaved.

Experienced after school nanny required!

by Rob • Richmond upon Thames
A welcoming family in Mortlake are looking for a fun and reliable nanny to join them before their daughter starts school in September. Both parents have busy roles so need someone able to help with the after school hours term time for four days a week and then cover full time school holiday hours for 9 weeks of the year across 5 days. They are happy to pro-rata the salary so you will be paid the same each month, regardless of whether shorter term time hours or longer holiday hours. The school is a walk away so no driver needed, but parking available if someone wants to drive to work. If someone lived locally, that would be preferred. They are looking for someone who is happy to collect from school, make sure she has uniform for the next day, help with homework, take her to extracurricular activities and be proactive. Someone who enjoys engaging with the children in their care, happy to help her through the hurdles of starting school life, and having fun! She has a great sense of humour, likes baking and reading and loves horses. They would like someone who can be flexible as parents sometimes have longer working days but mostly home by 6pm so it would allow for some other duties to be covered. Duties to include: School pick ups, preparing healthy meals and snacks, keeping child's and communal areas clean and tidy, dishwasher, child's laundry and some batch-cooking if time allows. If this sounds like the role for you, then do get in touch!
